We have eaten at Tickles restaurant 3 times now. We brought our daughter, son, and grandson this time. Every time we have eaten there the service and food has been great. From the moment we arrived the staff and the owners have been great. The food always tastes so fresh. We drove over an hour to eat there. You can tell the owners take pride into the food they serve. We will continue to return and tell people people about this place.

Tickles is the best restaurant ever! Support American! He is still following in the traditions of our forefathers!!

First off this is such a cute place. The staff was super friendly! We traveled an hour to try the food and it was worth the trip. We started with green bean fries and brisket stuffed onion rings. Both were perfectly cooked. The onion rings paired well with the spicy ranch sauce offered. We went on to eat barbecue sandwiches, and barbecue plate. We loved the BBQ because it was so tender with rich smoked flavor. The mashed potatoes, green beans, baked beans and okra was wonderful. Highly recommend this place. The finale was when the owner Tickle himself walked around as kind and humble as can be. He spoke with everyone in his diner. This was a wonderful experience!!

We drove over an hour because this place was recommended by a friend Staff were really nice and friendly and food was amazing!!! We would definitely make the drive again!!! My burger was the best one I have had.

This place is unique and anyone that has watched the series Moonshiners, has to have this on their bucket list. As most themed restaurant are geared toward specific audience, this place is no exception. The atmosphere is very welcoming and inviting. The place is relaxed and laid back. Steven Tickles and his wife are usually there and we were told they personally greeted everyone when they are. The staff were attentive and friendly as well. For Breakfast you have to try the unique Cinnamon Egg Nog French Toast. It comes with toast bacon or sausage and two eggs with a touch of moonshine, and amazing culinary creation. For those who are omelette people, you have to try Dan's Omelette, three eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, onions and peppers toped with cheddar cheese. They also offer a excellent Sausage Gravy Biscuit. I had to 8oz Beef Ribeye, the Ribeye was very buttery, and cooked just right. Before you go they also have a small storefront where they sell merchandise. As I am an avid cookbook collector I have to pick up theirs, "The Tickles Table" I would have gave the place five starts, but I wanted to meet Steven, sadly he was not there the time we passed through. Give this place a try if you are in the area.

Nothing pretentious about this place, just decent food at a good price, served by friendly and competent waitresses. The place is old, dating back to 1957, but was clean an cozy. I come this way on occasion and will gladly stop in again if the time is right. I had the flounder sandwich and fries. The fries could have been cooked just a little longer, but it hit the spot and came out of the kitchen quickly. If you are in the area and don't want another fast food chain restaurant, this is a good place to stop. Parking is kind of tight.

My wife and I had a great meal. The confetti was to died for, if you had everyday I probably would kill you. Very nice homey place
